DCM - Centrifugal Impactor
TecnoBilance
The DCM Centrifugal Impactor is an auxiliary machine designed for the intensive disintegration of farinaceous product flakes generated during the reduction stages in roller mills. Its centrifugal action provides a more energetic disintegration compared to traditional systems.
The product enters the machine by falling into the center of the impeller and, thanks to the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the vertical-axis rotor, it is projected against the machine’s metal elements and cylindrical housing, undergoing an intense impact and disintegration action.
The flat impeller, equipped with multiple series of disintegration pins and dynamically balanced, is directly connected to the motor shaft and ensures smooth operation with low vibrations and reduced noise levels.
The disintegration action improves the productivity of the milling process by increasing the efficiency of sieving operations and promoting better water absorption of the flour. The machine can be floor-mounted or ceiling-suspended and is also available in a stainless steel version.
