HMM - Hammer Mill

The HMM hammer mill is a machine designed for the size reduction of products and by-products deriving from grain cleaning processes. It is particularly suitable for grinding materials such as light grains, broken kernels, straw, soybeans, rye, barley, and corn intended for subsequent mixing or valorization.

The grinding process takes place through a high-speed rotor equipped with oscillating hammers made of high-strength steel, which crush the product by impact. The ground particles pass through a perforated screen that retains the coarser fractions until the desired particle size is achieved.

The machine is equipped with a large-diameter grinding chamber featuring manganese steel impact plates and a dynamically balanced rotor designed for double-direction rotation and central feeding onto an adjustable deflector.

The ground product is conveyed toward the outlet thanks to the action of rotating blades that generate negative pressure inside the grinding chamber, enabling the pneumatic conveying of the material. The large front door facilitates maintenance operations and the replacement of wear components.
