DRM - Rotary Detacher
TecnoBilance
The DRM Rotary Detacher is an auxiliary machine used in milling processes for the disintegration of farinaceous product flakes generated by the pressure of the rolls during reduction stages. Its use restores the correct product structure before the subsequent sieving operations.
The product is carried by the air vortex generated by the rotation of the beater rotor and projected against the inner wall of the machine. The impact causes the disintegration of the flakes without affecting the bran particles, improving the efficiency of the sifting systems while keeping the ash content of the flour unchanged.
The machine consists of a cylindrical housing with tangential inlet and outlet connections for the product. The rotor, dynamically balanced and equipped with conveying blades, ensures smooth, vibration-free operation with a high level of operating quietness.
The detacher can be installed either floor-mounted or ceiling-suspended and allows product discharge in either vertical or horizontal direction according to the plant configuration.
